Roe-Wonnacott Wedding
Anna Wonnacott, daughter of
Nelson Wonnacott of Pickford, and
Clifford Roe, son-of Mr. and Mrs.
Ashton Roe, also of Pickford,Were
united in marriage on Thursday,
August 24, 1939, at the Baptist parsonage,
the Rev Harold Hayward
officiating.
Witnesses were Etta Wonnacott
and Mrs. Hayward.
The bride and Miss Wonnacolt
both wore pale blue lace with corsages
of roses. After the ceremony
the couple left for a brief trip to
the Tahquamenon Falis and New- j
berry, returning Saturday night.
A wedding dinner’was served at
the home of the bridegroom’s parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Roe, with
Miss Mary Rouse, aunt of the bridegroom,
and Mrs. Phillip Kibble,
grandmother of the bride, among
the guests.
